Ingredients

Cayenne Pepper, Cloves, Clary Sage, Coconut, Lemongrass, Rosemary, Wintergreen, Yarrow, Arrow Root & Bees Wax.
The main ingredient in cayenne pepper is capsaicin. In addition to its ability to facilitate the toning and tightening of smooth muscle, as in blood vessels. Capsaicin has powerful pain-relieving properties when applied to the skin.
Capsaicin is often recommended for the following conditions:

Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as joint or muscle pain from fibromyalgia or other causes.

Nerve pain from shingles and other painful skin conditions (postherpetic neuralgia) that happens even after the skin blisters have gone away. Research is mixed. Check with your doctor to see if trying capsaicin ointment is right for you.

Pain after surgery, such as a mastectomy or an amputation.

Pain from nerve damage in the feet or legs from diabetes, called diabetic peripheral neuropathy. However, capsaicin doesn't seem to work for peripheral neuropathy from HIV.

Clary sage is a highly effective antiseptic, with anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory effects. It is an effective antiseptic for wounds and cuts, promoting wound healing and reducing inflammation. Among its many beneficial effects, Clary Sage helps prevent and treat acne and other skin problems. Its antioxidant and antiseptic properties neutralize free radicals, which reduces skin damage. Clary Sage also helps regulate sebum production and stimulates blood circulation.

When used in skin care, Lemongrass is believed to help tone and rejuvenate the skin, while its astringent properties can also help control excess oil, reducing the appearance of blemishes. Its analgesic properties can provide comfort and relief when massaged onto the affected areas.
Rosemary is a member of the mint family, it provides stimulation, oxygenation and overall reviving refreshment to skin. It acts as a refreshing astringent that balances and tones the skin.
Rosemary hydrates the skin, and helps to control oil production. It also provides an antibacterial surface for the skin, keeping acne at bay. Rosemary’s antiseptic properties are beneficial to skin conditions such as eczema.
Rosemary is highly regarded in eye creams because of its ability to increase blood flow. Increased blood flow decreases under-eye dark circles. Rosemary Oil allows for increased drainage and decreased eye puffiness. Which is why we added it to Chill Out.
Research shows that wintergreen has the ability to act like a natural analgesic (pain reducer), antiarthritic, antiseptic and astringent.
Wintergreen is absorbed into skin quickly and acts like a numbing agent, similar to cortisone. It also promotes blood circulation and cools irritation, which is comforting to swollen skin.
Yarrow skin benefits seem to be almost endless. We added it to this formula, because it acts as an analgesic to help with mild pain relief and irritations.
As a natural astringent, it helps to tone smooth muscle. In addition it soothes the skin with anti-inflammatory properties. Finally, it helps with healing broken capillaries
How to use Chill Out
You can use this balm for circulation issues, stemming from Raynaud’s syndrome, or general dysfunction of the capillary system of your body’s extremities.
It can also be used for a surprising number of other issues, namely, many different types of pain, from diabetic neuropathy to shingles, migraine headaches, back aches, arthritis, menstrual cramps and bruises.
This salve can be used on aches and pains, from sore muscles and joints to bruises and even nerve pain.
It can also be used in a pinch for closed wounds and may sting a bit on open wounds. Even on closed skin you may feel a bit of burning or heat in the area where it is used.
It should be applied externally only and used often for best results.
If using it for arthritic pain, it may take up to a week or two to see results. In this case you want to use it daily to decrease chronic pain.
